As previously announced, Autodesk will be discontinuing the sales of perpetual licenses for a number of individual products on 31st July 2016. Autodesk will also be discontinuing Design & Creation Suites, in addition to this.

Discontinued Perpetual Licenses and Suites List
Customers
will no longer be able to convert a standalone perpetual license to a shared
network license, or cross-grade to other perpetual licenses for products that
are no longer offered.
Customers who have a current Perpetual License Maintenance Plan, will still have the option to continue renewing this, as long as the Maintenance Plan is never allowed to expire.

Change in Autodesk Perpetual License Policy
Autodesk will be transitioning new software
purchases for most of their products to Desktop Subscription (Lease) based options only. As of 1st February 2016 new seats of most standalone products will move over to Desktop
Subscriptions.
Customers who already have a perpetual license or purchases a new perpetual license at any time during 2016 will still retain the perpetual license to that software and can continue to use it in
accordance with their perpetual license agreement. If the software product is covered by Maintenance Subscription,
they will also continue to receive their Maintenance Subscription benefits.

Autodesk Discontinues Subscription Upgrade Options
As of the 23rd
of January 2015, Autodesk are Discontinuing Subscription Upgrade options. This
means that upgrading an older version Autodesk Software Solution, will be
removed from the Pricelist and will no longer be available to existing
customers. As a result should your Autodesk Software Subscription expire and
the need to upgrade to the latest version arise, instead of being able to
upgrade for a lower price, an entirely new license will need to be purchased.
Advance Steel & Advance Concrete Subscription Upgrade Promotions
To assist customers in upgrading their Advance Steel & Advance Concrete Subscriptions, a limited Special Offer is available for upgrading these Subscriptions. A Legacy (Older) Version of Advance Steel and Advance Concrete can be upgraded to the latest version for 50% of the new license price.
An “Advance Steel with Advance CAD Bundle” or an “Advance Steel without AutoCAD Bundle” can also be upgraded to an “Advance Steel with AutoCAD Bundle” at 50% of the usual upgrade price. Please note for both these options a further 12 months Autodesk Subscription will be included in the price.
These Special Offers are limited until the 23rd January 2015.

Autodesk Upgrade Policy Changes
As
of the 1st February 2015, Autodesk will no longer offer the option to purchase an
upgrade version of the latest software release if you own a perpetual license
to a previous version. New versions will be available through purchase of a new
perpetual license for the current version or as a Maintenance Subscription or
Desktop Subscription benefit.
